Port na Chro are a pair of semi-detached cottages within a beautiful secluded bay, surrounded by fields and woodland. Remnants of an old stone quay protect a sandy beach, with breathtaking views to Arran and Bute beyond. A peaceful place to relax, unwind and explore your own stretch of shoreline. Situated two miles North of the village, at the end of the lane.
For larger groups these cottages can be booked together and will sleep 11-12 people.
Port na Chro North has 3 bedrooms (1 double and 2 twins) and a family bathroom with an electric shower over the bath. Downstairs is an open plan kitchen and living area with a baby grand piano and a wood burning stove. The kitchen has been recently modernized and includes dishwasher, inbuilt ceramic hob and large fridge/freezer.
The Piano is a 1930s John Broadwood, it is regularly tuned and has recently been regulated, restoring it’s action to optimal. It has never played so well and would suit musicians or singers, looking for somewhere inspiring to practice or compose.
